I build web products from interface to infrastructure.

I’m April Hill, a full-stack software developer who builds accessible applications, deploys them across modern cloud platforms, and solves the operational problems that happen after launch.

How I contribute

Build, ship, and operate.

I work across the product lifecycle instead of treating deployment as the finish line.

Build

Responsive interfaces, server-side applications, APIs, authentication, databases, and commerce workflows.

Ship

Git-based delivery across Vercel, AWS, DigitalOcean, Railway, Render, Lightsail, and EC2.

Operate

DNS, SSL, reverse proxies, environment configuration, platform migrations, debugging, and recovery planning.

Summer 2026 field notes

Real lessons from live systems.

Expiring student credits and unreliable providers turned portfolio deployments into practical infrastructure experience.

  1. Launch Commander
Railway → Render → AWS Lightsail. Recovered from authentication and stability problems while preserving the Git-based delivery workflow.
  2. Demo platform
DigitalOcean → AWS EC2. Rebuilt the home for server-rendered portfolio projects after education credits expired.
  3. What changed
Portability became a requirement. Deployment documentation, environment separation, health checks, and rollback planning now begin before launch.
